Rebecca & Gordon - Tin Shed Fintry, Knockraich Farm boho, rustic, beautiful wedding in Scotland

I was just going to press PUBLISH on a post I have written about this gorgeous wedding and… I deleted it by mistake. (OH NO!!!) I really want to do justice to this wedding and write a good post about it, because it was STUNNING. So here’s me… trying to express how amazed I was on the day…

It was a warm, a bit cloudy day. I got up in the morning and as I usually get up before weddings in new places I was excited about visiting the new venue on my ‘wedding map of central Scotland’. Knockraich Farm is a working farm, there’s lots of cows just behind the fence and there’s a Courtyard café with the best ice cream, butter and all the dairy products. I’ve been there countless times after this wedding just to relax with my family. The drive from Glasgow is short (45min) and very picturesque. I love this place and I’m sure I’ll be there back again really soon.

My first visit to the Farm was nothing away from unforgettable. The place looked like a fairy tale - filled with flowers, birds hiding in brunches of ivy. The day was calm, relaxing and simply beautiful.

What was the most beautiful at that wedding? People! Especially Rebecca and Gordon - bride and groom. Sometimes I feel like my English is not good enough to fully express how incredible couples I have the pleasure to work with. Rebecca and Gordon are beautiful - inside and outside. They are perfect and perfect for each other. Their wedding day was laid-back, filled with honest reactions, emotions and happy tears.

I really felt that I need to give these guys very special images of their big day. We had fun creating them and I hope we have created not just images, but mainly additional memories from the moments we have escaped ‘the crowd’ and wandered through fields and hills. I’ll never forget Rebecca on the rope swing or moments of a pure giggle when Gordon was changing her Steve Madden heels to Convers ;) Tiny moments, that’s what every wedding day is all about. I love to think that photographers not just capture those tiny moments, but sometimes we create them too. We tell stories like bards with our own visual language.

It’s my perspective of that day, read Rebecca’s post on Eleganza Sposa Bridal Blog.

I’ll just quote a tiny part of this article where Rebecca tells a bit more about my humble person ;)

What was the most memorable moment?

There were so many memorable parts but one of our favourite moments was when we went for a wander with our photographer to get some more pictures and as we started to walk to the top of the hill, this stunning sunset dropped down over Ben Lomond. As the sun started to set on the most magical day of our lives, we look a moment to stop, stand side by side, take in the view and count our lucky stars for the beautiful people in our lives who made 10.07.21 such a special and memorable day.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

Our photographer Lena captured so many perfect moments. Although her catchphrase of the day was “perfection is boring”, she really has an eye for what makes something picture perfect and can find it even in the most unlikely of places. Every photo is filled with so much happiness, love or laughter – it’s been so hard to pick our favourite because we absolutely adore them all.
