Scottish Borders Wedding Photograher - Walkerburn, Melrose Abbey

A bit different post today… but why not. Good things should be shared…

We are back after our short but super intense holiday. We had an amazing pleasure to spend some time in Walkerburn in the Scottish Borders. Accomodation we can fully recommend was: 27 Caberston

Our love to this region started from the wedding we shoot there in 2016 ( you can see it HERE ). We knew since ten that we want to spend some more time in this region. What’s worth to see and to visit? LOTS of things. First on our list was Melrose Abbey - partly ruined monastery founded in 1136 by Cistercian monks at the request of King David I of Scotland. I was dreaming about visiting this place for a while, but always the cherry on top was shooting a couple there, or even more… a wedding! That would be something AWESOME! So calling all couples who are planning their Borders wedding - the Abbey rocks - you should get married there and I should be the one who will capture it ;)

The 2nd on our list was Haughead Stables - we freaking love horses and this place offers amazing trecking area so it was one in a kind oportunity for our wee ones to try horse riding.

The last thing we did was mountain biking in Glentress near Peebles (yes you can rent a bike there).

Dear Scottish Borders we will be back. For sure. For longer. Forever? ;P
