It was the first and the last wedding we photographed in 2020 before the global pandemic kick in.
What a crazy time it was. I was excited about the start of the wedding season, optimistically looking to the bright future. Oh well everyone knows how 2020 was. Boooooriiiiiiing and annoying, long and fearful at times…
…BUT…
Before the whole COVID-19 period of modern times, we were blessed with these two. Lucy and Eamon - absolutely brilliant couple who had an idea to organise a wee wedding ceremony separately from their second-day reception. It’s usually called being a trendsetter, they were the first to do it and believe me - it was absolutely EPIC!
Their wedding ceremony was held in the spectacular Monachyle Mhor in Balquhidder (which is a gem on the map of Scottish wedding venues)., after the ceremony, we went for a hike from Rob Roy’s grave up the forest (you can easily find the spot on Google Maps).
Crazy day, beautiful memories, I would happily relive it again.
I’m not surprised that it has been published in the online magazine WE FELL IN LOVE - issue seven.
