I can’t start this post with words different than what Amber said about her own wedding:
“Just a pair of dorks saying their I do’s. Honestly, it all just came together by luck 😂 It was worth wearing the dress for all the free whiskey!
I literally only used yourself and Eclipse Florals for the flowers oh and I got a cake from - you know I can’t even remember where I just picked a random Glasgow bakery, and chucked some fruit on in the evening honestly I was so disorganised 😂 The dress was from Self-Portrait, but I got it reduced on mytheresa, and Alec’s suit was just from Moss Bros. My shoes were M&S but I got them on eBay, and the pearls were Alec’s nans, my best friend (in the blue) made my bag from a blue silk she got secondhand.. I think that’s it!
I picked the songs the night before..as iffff, I mean the best man playing that ‘bet365’ ad during the vows was a highlight! Not an intended wedding song
I don’t think I could give any advice other than what not to do but obv you and the florist were amazing, I think the only thing we splurged on was having a photographer / you there but it was the most worth it thing, and I’m so so glad we did it! can’t imagine anyone else could’ve captured the day like you did, or make us as comfortable. The way you captured the morning was the best thing and I’m so grateful to have had you there!!”
As you can see Amber, and her husband Alec are pretty rad. And what I have to admit is - that I’ll never forget their wee wedding day. They eloped in Glasgow with their best friends, said I DO’s and went for a tiny walk and then to a pub with friends. What else do you need?
It’s all about the love in the end.
