There are no rules when it comes to weddings and don’t feel like you need have traditional elements of a wedding if you don’t want to. It’s your day and keep doing you.
Faye

It was the most perfect day in July when we arrived at The Cow Shed, Crail with Patrick to shoot Faye and Craig’s wedding. Sunny, warm - simply special.

We absolutely LOVE The Cow Shed, it’s definitely one of our favourite venues in Scotland. As you probably imagine - one of the key points to love any venue by photographers is ‘the light’ and there’s always the greatest light in The Cow Shed. The venue simply flows. We can’t wait to photograph another wedding there later this year.

Faye and Craig are amazing. We were really blessed last year. The couples we photographed are unique so is Faye and Craig. Their summer, colourful and vibrant wedding was filled with personal touches, great decor, incredible food, Scottish music. It was all about them.

I love it when brides and grooms are not blindly following wedding traditions. It’s so special when a couple knows what they want and they simply ‘redesignes’ the wedding and organise it in their own way.

Craig loves cars - so there was his and his friends’ cars parked on the driveway to the venue. Faye players bagpipes together with her family, they even have a band! So they performed for the guests. Bridesmaids were wearing different dresses. They both welcomed their guests prior to official speeches. It all made Faye and Craig’s wedding very personal, fresh and unique.
