Hi, you newly engaged people,
Today is a day off in schools so I thought a nice family trip connected with something wedding-related is the best idea for this day. I had an eye for one rustic venue for a while, so we went there to scout the location.
Folkerton Mill is an absolutely new venue in Douglas - South Lanarkshire and it can host up to 80 guests (I would say). There is a barn, courtyard, garden, river, chicken, yurt… everything that you can possibly need for organizing a boho/rustic wedding.
I was very lucky this time because I had a chance to see The Green Cockatoo china in the action. We worked together on the few projects but here, on a bigger space it was so beautiful.
This day was an absolute blast and I’m sure I’ll be back there soon. If you feel you’re looking for a smaller wedding venue, but still with a very cool and stylish place - that’s the place you should definitely visit… and…it’s not paid post - I really share it bcz I love it.
